The Grant Hackett story is certainly taking some dark twists and turns. His latest quote “my brother beat the S@#$ out of me” definitely got the expected attention.
Instagram Controversy
In the most recent development Hackett has taken to Instagram this morning to post a photo of himself where he is sporting a black-eye.
It is not clear when the photo was originally taken as Hackett didn’t appear to have any facial injuries yesterday.
Craig’s comments
It comes after his brother Craig spoke to the media yesterday afternoon giving details of the predicament the Hackett family is in at this time.
“He’s a danger to himself. He’s a danger to the community,” Craig said yesterday.
“The Grant Hackett that Australia fell in love with, they can still have that affection towards him,” he said.
“This is not Grant Hackett. This is a completely different person. I don’t know this person, my mum and dad don’t know this person. He’s there in body, but he’s not there in mind, soul or spirit.”
It’s certainly a messy situation. Let’s hope Grant and his family can get the help and support they need.
